Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Officer J. Chichizola observed that the driver, a 49-year-old female from Matawan, NJ, was displaying multiple signs of impairment. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle, which yielded suspected CDS and drug paraphernalia. The driver performed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST’s) and was suspected to be under the influence while operating the vehicle in question.  The driver was placed under arrest and was transported to HQ for processing, where she was charged with DWI, Unlawful Possession of CDS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Make Lawful disposition of CDS, along with other motor vehicle summonses.  The driver was released to a responsible party and was issued a mandatory court appearance date in the Emerson Municipal Court and the Central Judicial Processing (CJP) Court in Hackensack.
