The Emerson Police Department was called to a reported physical dispute in progress. Sgt. C. Bova, Officer J. Schwarz, and Officer T. Solimando arrived on scene and determined a Domestic Violence incident had occurred. The on-scene investigation led to the mandatory arrest of a 33-year-old male suspect for violations of N.J.S.A 2C:12-1A DV Assault related charges. The defendant was processed and remanded to Bergen County Jail.
