Officer T. Solimando was on motor vehicle patrol when he observed a vehicle with a suspended driver operating on the roadway. A motor vehicle stop was initiated by Officer Solimando that resulted in DUI/DWI investigation. The result of that investigation ended in the arrest of the 34-
year-old driver. The subject driver failed to pass the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST’s) and was charged with violations of N.J.S.A 39:4-50 (DUI) along with multiple moving violations. The subject was transported to the Emerson Police Department for processing and issued a mandatory court appearance at the Emerson Municipal Court.
