While performing motor patrol, Officer T. Solimando initiated a motor vehicle stop on the suspect vehicle for numerous motor vehicle operation violations. The driver, a 59-year-old male from Westwood, NJ, performed field sobriety tests, and at the conclusion of the roadside investigation, it was determined that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was charged with D.W.I. and issued a mandatory court appearance date in Emerson Municipal Court.
