On 2/28/2025, the Emerson Detective Bureau received a 9-1-1 report of a male party in a pickup truck following a female from Forest Avenue to the parking lot of the Emerson Police Department.  Sergeant C. Bova and Officer T. Solimando responded and spoke with the complainant.  The aggressor had fled the area prior to the officer’s arrival and an investigation was initiated to determine the aggressor’s identity.  Investigation revealed that the harassment in the parking lot of police headquarters stemmed from a road rage event that started on Forest Avenue in the area of Soldier Hill Road.  Officers were able to determine the registration to the actor’s vehicle and lead to the identification of the aggressor.  On March 5th, the aggressor/absentee defendant, a 55-year-old male from Washington Twp., was charged with Harassment (DP) on a special complaint and issued multiple motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date in the Emerson Municipal Court.
