While on patrol, Officer J. Chichizola observed a vehicle traveling north on Kinderkamack Road with equipment violations. Officer Chichizola attempted to perform a motor vehicle stop; however, the vehicle began making abrupt turns and continued to elude the officer. The vehicle finally stopped after pulling into a driveway on Belmont Avenue, where Officer Chichizola learned that the driver, a 33-year-old female from River Edge, NJ, did not have driving privileges. The driver was placed under arrest and was transported to HQ for processing, where she was charged with Eluding (3rd Deg.) along with numerous motor vehicle summonses. The driver was released on a complaint summons and was issued a mandatory court appearance date with the Central Judicial Processing (CJP) Court in Hackensack as well as a court date in the Emerson Municipal Court.
