While performing motor patrol, Officer T. Solimando initiated a motor vehicle stop on the suspect vehicle for speeding. The driver, a 54-year-old male from Hillsdale, NJ, performed field sobriety tests, and at the conclusion of the roadside investigation, it was determined that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he provided two (2) breath samples with a reading of .13% BAC.  The driver was charged with D.W.I., issued multiple traffic citations and was issued a pending court appearance date with the Emerson Municipal Court.
