8/13/25 | Arrest – Theft by Deception & Criminal Simulation | 11:15 AM (Park Avenue):

In March of 2024, an Emerson resident reported that they recently purchased a used vehicle from a seller on Facebook Market Place, and that the vehicle was stolen from their residence. The resident reported that the vehicle was locked and they were in possession of both key fobs.  A lengthy investigation by DSgt. D. Kearns identified a Romanian national, a 40-year-old male from Federal Way, WA, as the suspect. The absentee defendant was subsequently charged on a complaint Warrant with Theft by Deception, Criminal Simulation and Unlawful Possession of a Motor Vehicle.
