While performing motor patrol, Officer J. Schwarz effectuated a motor vehicle stop for multiple equipment violations.  During Officer Schwarz’s roadside investigation, it was learned that the driver, a 52-year-old male from Carteret, NJ, had (1) active NCIC Shoplifting warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office for $2,500. The individual was taken into custody, given a new court date by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office and was released on his own recognizance after being issued multiple summonses.
