Arrest – Theft of Services | 8:20 PM (Emerson Plaza East)

Sergeant C. Bova, and Officer C. Scheidle responded to Emerson Plaza East for a report of theft of services. Officers canvassed the area and located a suspect matching the description given by the business.  After the officer’s roadside investigation, it was confirmed that the suspect performed the theft and could not pay for the services rendered.  The suspect, a 43-year-old homeless female, was taken into custody and charged on a complaint summons for Theft of Services (DP), and given a court appearance date in Emerson.  During the investigation, it was learned that the suspect also had numerous warrants from New Brunswick Municipal Court and was ultimately turned over to the New Brunswick Police Department.
