While performing motor patrol in the area of Forest Avenue, Officer J. Chichizola effectuated a motor vehicle stop for a cellphone infraction.  During Officer Chichizola’s roadside investigation, it was learned that the driver, a 27-year-old male from Carteret, NJ, had an outstanding ACS warrant from the Township of Hamilton Regional Court for $2,500. The individual was taken into custody, given a new court date by the Township of Hamilton Regional Court and was released on his own recognizance after being issued a summons with a pending court appearance date in Emerson.
