Officers A. Mazzo and O. Lennon were dispatched to the dead end of Dyer Avenue for a report of a vehicle that had crashed into the woods. Officers located an individual in the roadway of the dead end and a vehicle approximately 100 feet into the woods. The individual was determined be under the influence and the driver of the crashed vehicle. The driver, a 25-year-old male from Montvale, NJ, was placed under arrest and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment, charged with DWI along with other motor vehicle summonses with a pending court appearance date.
