Loss prevention from a local supermarket reported that a male suspect bypassed all points of sale and shoplifted $228 worth of merchandise on 8/13/2024 and $894 worth of merchandise on 08/23/2024. The incident was investigated by DSgt. D. Kearns, and with assistance from the New Milford Police Department Detective Bureau, the suspect was positively identified as a 54-year-old male from Saddle Brook, NJ. The absentee defendant was charged for both incidents on a complaint summons for Shoplifting and was issued a pending court appearance date.
