08/31/23 | Shoplifting | 7:42 PM (600 Kinderkamack Rd – Stop & Shop):
Investigation revealed that on 08/31/2023, two suspects were captured on security cameras placing various merchandise valued at approximately $1519.00, into two shopping carts and exiting the store without paying. Det. T. McDermott’s investigation determined that these same suspects were recently arrested in Montvale for shoplifting. Information obtained from the Montvale Police Department Detective Bureau helped to positively identify both suspects. On 09/09/23, the first suspect, a 53-year-old male from Yonkers, NY, was charged with a Third-Degree Shoplifting, and the second suspect, a 63-year-old female out of the Yonkers, NY, was charged with a Third-Degree Shoplifting. Both absentee defendants were charged on a complaint summons and were issued a pending court appearance date.
