2:01 PM (600 Kinderkamack Rd – Stop & Shop): Investigation revealed that two male suspects were captured on security cameras placing a large amount of Red Bull energy drinks, valued at approximately $373, into a shopping cart and exiting the store without paying. Det. B. Rizza’s investigation determined that these same suspects also performed thefts in Teaneck, New Milford, and Closter. Information obtained from the New Milford Police Department Detective Bureau helped to positively identify both male suspects. The first suspect, a 43-year-old male from Mahopac, NY, was charged with Fourth Degree Shoplifting and Fourth Degree Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting. The second suspect, a 34-year-old male out of the Bronx, NY, was charged with Fourth Degree Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting. Both absentee males were charged on a complaint summons and were issued a pending court appearance date. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
