On 12/18/25, the Emerson Police Department received a report of cyber harassment. The incident was investigated by Detective T. McDermott, who after a lengthy investigation, was able to identify the suspect as a 34-year-old male from Shakopee, MN. The absentee defendant was charged with Cyber Harassment (4th) on a complaint summons. The absentee defendant was issued a pending court appearance date in the Central Judicial Processing (CJP) Court in Hackensack.
