On 11/02/25, Officer S. Gildea was advised by Closter PD that a victim of a Colster pick-pocket investigation reported that their credit card was used by an unknown suspect at a local convenience store in Emerson. Later that day, two suspects were identified and arrested by the Closter Police Department for a shoplifting in their jurisdiction. The first suspect, a 60-year-old male from Englewood, NJ, was charged on a complaint summons for Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards (3rd Deg) and the second suspect, a 24-year-old male from Hackensack, NJ, was charged with Conspiracy. Both suspects were issued a court appearance date in the Central Judicial Processing (CJP) Court in Hackensack.
