While performing motor patrol in the area of Lincoln Boulevard, Officer T. Solimando effectuated a motor vehicle stop for multiple equipment violations. During Officer Solimando’s roadside investigation, it was learned that the vehicle was unregistered, and the driver, a 28-year-old female from Paterson, NJ, had an outstanding warrant from Lyndhurst Municipal Court. The passenger, a 49-year-old male from Delmont, NJ, was identified and mad multiple warrants from Fair Lawn Municipal Court. Both individuals were arrested and during the arrest process, officers found suspected crack cocaine and paraphernalia on the passenger. Both individuals transported to Emerson HQ for processing. The driver was issued multiple summonses, and was ultimately relinquished to the Lyndhurst PD. The passenger and was charged with Possession of CDS (3rd Deg.) and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia (DP) on a complaint summons, issued a new court appearance date with Fair Lawn Municipal Court and was ultimately released on his own recognizance pending court appearance date.
