Arrest – Contempt -Violation of FRO | 5:41 PM (Municipal Place)

Victim gave a statement to Officers M. Martino and J. Chichizola that her ex-husband, a 26-year-old male from Montclair, NJ, was in violation of an active Final Restraining Order (FRO) by sending messages to the victim. The absentee defendant was charged on a complaint warrant and with assistance from the Montclair PD, the defendant was served and arrested for contempt of the court order.  The defendant was relinquished into the custody of the Emerson PD, issued a pending court appearance date, and was transported to the Bergen County Jail without incident.
