Officers T. Solimando and S. Gildea responded to Ross Avenue for on a report of a verbal dispute. After the initial call for service was resolved, officer’s suspected that an involved individual drove intoxicated prior to the altercation and was anticipating on driving away from the scene. The driver admitted to driving to the scene and was instructed to performed field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the roadside investigation, it was determined that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver, a 56-year-old male out of Fort Lee, NJ, was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was charged and issued a pending court appearance date.
