PO C. Merkle responded to HQ for an individual that needed to speak with an officer. PO Merkle met with the 34-year-old male from Emerson, NJ, who was attempting to receive a copy of a report and possibly place another report on file. After identifying the individual, PO Merkle was advised by Bergen County Communications that the individual had two (2) active warrants, one out of Clifton PD for $2,000.00 and one out of Hackensack PD for $650.00. The individual was taken into custody, given a new court date by Clifton PD and was ultimately relinquished to Hackensack PD.
