09/23/23 | Shoplifting | 1:45 PM (600 Kinderkamack Rd – Stop & Shop):

Investigation revealed that on 09/23/2023, two suspects were captured on security cameras placing various merchandise valued at approximately $914, into two shopping carts and exiting the store without paying.  DSgt. D. Kearns’ investigation determined that the suspect vehicle was used in multiple other Shoplifting incidents in Wycoff, Boonton, and East Hanover in early October.  Information obtained from the aforementioned police departments helped to positively identify both suspects.  On 10/07/23, the first suspect, a 36-year-old male from Paterson, NJ was charged with a Third-Degree Shoplifting, and the second suspect, a 41-year-old male out of the Wharton, NJ was charged with a Third-Degree Shoplifting. Both absentee defendants were charged on a complaint warrants and were issued a pending court appearance date.
