On 11/23/25, Officer J. Dmitruk was dispatched to a local grocery store to speak with a loss prevention employee regarding a shoplifting (approximately $4,200) that had taken place on 11/19/25. CCTV footage was secured and turned over to Det. T. McDermott. With assistance from the Wyckoff PD, the suspect, a 53-year-old male from Mahwah, NJ, was identified and charged on a complaint warrant for Shoplifting (3rd Deg) and was issued a court appearance date in the Central Judicial Processing (CJP) Court in Hackensack.
